UK retailer Majestic Wine has launched a new initiative called ‘Majestic Diversity In Wine Scholarship’ to help strengthen the wine industry's inclusivity.

A renewed focus on in store experience and a revamped product range has seen growth of 4.3% at Majestic Wine for the final quarter of 2019.

US investment firm Fortress has confirmed the planned purchase of the UK wine retailer Majestic Wine including the company’s stores, website, headquarters, on-trade and French divisions.

Majestic Wine has appointed Cat Lomax as its new head buyer,taking over from Matt Pym, who has left the company.
